Become a Coast Builders Coalition Member

Join the leadership of the effort to support and align private sector resources in the rebuilding and strengthening of Louisiana’s coast. This is a unique opportunity to enhance public/private sector collaboration, improve the environment for implementation of the Louisiana coastal restoration and hurricane protection system, and affect on-going engagement with key federal, state, and local officials as well as other non-governmental organizations.

Membership

Companies eligible for membership are those actively performing or seeking to perform coastal restoration and/or hurricane protection projects in Louisiana. We seek the inclusion of large, medium, and small companies.

Member Benefits

GOVERNMENT LIAISON/ADVOCACY – The Coalition will serve as the leading spokesman for the Louisiana coastal restoration and hurricane protection industry to local, state, and federal officials; the Coalition will monitor and advocate for and against legislation, regulations, and policy.

ACCESS – The Coalition will regularly arrange for key officials at the state and federal levels to talk with its members at quarterly meetings, luncheons, etc., which allows members to gain insight into policy, implementation, and upcoming opportunities.

As the leading industry spokesman, the Coalition will not only serve as an attractive place for officials to listen to the issues and concerns of industry, but it will also provide key government officials an opportunity to share their perspectives with industry.

INTELLIGENCE – The Coalition will keep its members up-to-date on relevant policy, regulations, legislation, etc. at the local, state, and federal levels and help members identify developing trends, challenges, and opportunities.

COLLABORATION – The Coalition will seek opportunities to collaborate with government, universities and non-governmental organizations on matters relating to science and technology, program management, policy development and other relevant areas.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – Membership in the Coast Builders Coalition provides important opportunities to make business connections.
